We are excited to announce that in 2021, EarthDance will open a Pay What You Can Farm Stand!
With the support of a grant from the Missouri Department of Agriculture and the in-kind gift of design services by the architects of Tao + Lee Associates, EarthDance has begun the process of refurbishing the farm’s tool shed into a Pay What You Can Farm Stand, to open in May of 2021.
EarthDance’s Pay What You Can Farm Stand will enable anyone to contribute what they can to buy food for their families that supports a just food system, nourishing people and the land.
Your donation will make fresh, immune-boosting food accessible for more families in North County. Grant funding from the Missouri Dept. of Agriculture will cover most of the costs of the physical refurbishment of the Farm Stand. EarthDance will offer its produce at low prices and for free to those in need. But it isn’t free for our professional farmers to grow the produce, for our outreach manager to promote awareness of this new opportunity to our neighbors, or for us to welcome customers, and provide education to visitors about why and how to cook using fresh ingredients.
I hope you will stand with us to make healthy food available to all. To provide Pay What You Can produce distribution and meet the needs of people in our area - we need you!
